We are deeply saddened by the death of Marvin West
and would like to express our sincere sadness and sympathies to Ms. Minnie, Mike, David, Susan and all the West
Family at this difficult time. It has been a great privilege to have Marvin be
such a vital part of the Floyd County Tractor Fun Run. We are grateful for our
connection to a life that was lived with grace, integrity, and humility. And we
remember Marvin with great
respect and admiration.
For I am ready to be offered, and the
time of my departure is at hand. I have
fought a good fight; I have finished my
course. I have kept the faith; Henceforth,
there is laid up for me a crown for
righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous
judge, shall give me at that day; and not
to me only, but unto all them also
that love his appearing.
